The LD-FBJX (Ex d IIB / DIP) is a flameproof explosion-proof junction box manufactured by LD Electric. It is specifically designed for hazardous areas involving both IIB gas and combustible dust, suitable for Zone 1 and Zone 2 environments.

 

The unit is used for the connection and distribution of power, lighting, and control circuits. Its core design features a flameproof Ex d protection type, ensuring safe and reliable operation in potentially explosive atmospheres.

Product Features

The explosion-proof junction box is designed and manufactured in strict accordance with GB/T 3836.1 Explosive Atmospheres Part 1:Equipment – General Requirements, GB/T 3836.2 Explosive Atmospheres – Part 2: Equipment Protection by Flameproof Enclosure “d”, and additionally references GB/T 3836.31 Explosive Atmospheres – Part 31:Equipment Dust Ignition Protection by Enclosure “t”.

Material:Carbon steel or stainless steel, precision-formed by argon-shielded welding.

Surface treatment:Coating (powder coating) or chemical treatment. Cable entry/exit:Equipped with certified explosion-proof cable glands.

The direction and specifications of cable entries and exits can be designed in accordance with customer requirements.

Special instructions for use:Cable glands or stopping plugs installed with this product shall be suitable for the corresponding explosion protection type and shall hold a valid CCC certificate.

The flameproof joints are not intended to be repaired.

Normal Operating Conditions

Hazardous Area Classification: Suitable for Zone 1 and Zone 2 explosive gas atmospheres of Group IIA and IIB, and/or Zone 20, Zone 21, and Zone 22 combustible dust environments.

Temperature Class: T1 to T4 (up to T6 available upon request).

Installation Environment: Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use (IP66).

Applications: Widely used in hazardous locations such as chemical plants, refineries, oil and gas extraction sites, offshore oil platforms, oil tankers, and military industries for the connection and branching of lighting, power, and control circuits.
