The GGJ series is an indoor low-voltage reactive power compensation cabinet designed for 50 Hz power systems with a rated operational voltage of 400 V and rated insulation voltage of 690 V. It supports a rated current range of 53 A to 371 A and delivers a nominal capacitor capacity from 60 kvar to 420 kvar, with a rated short-time withstand current of 20 kA. The unit combines single-phase and three-phase compensation methods and employs thyristor-based solid-state electronic switches for fast, precise capacitor switching. The cabinet measures 2200 mm (H) × 1200 mm (W) × 1000 mm (D) and is intended for vertical floor-mounted indoor installation with front-access operation in both manual and automatic modes.

1. Applications

1. This cabinet is suitable for indoor industrial and commercial power distribution systems where reactive power compensation is required to improve power factor, reduce line losses, and stabilize voltage.

2. It is ideal for factories, commercial buildings, data centers, and other facilities operating at 400 V / 50 Hz with fluctuating reactive loads.

3. The thyristor-based switching enables rapid response to load changes, making it well-suited for environments with frequent and rapid variations in reactive power demand.

4. Installation altitude should not exceed 2000 m above sea level, and the ambient operating temperature must remain between –5°C and +40°C, with a 24-hour average not exceeding +35°C.

4. Flexible Operation: Supports both manual and automatic front-access operation, with rated current and capacity ranges covering 53 A–371 A and 60 kvar–420 kvar respectively.
